Tubing set:

PVC tubing:

We pick the material that is Bisphenol A free to make the tubing and adaptor.  The PVC tubing is made from virgin PVC resin that has extra low plastic smell.  It meets the RoHS and USA Heavy metal test standards. The adaptor is made from virgin ABS material, one that offers greatest strength in plastic.  The color of the adaptor is not as yellow as that of Medela.  It is because we did not add as much colorant in the ABS.  Colorants normally contain a lot of metals so we minimize their use to meet the RoHS requirements.  This is done with a purpose to provide a safer product.  Although the breast milk is not to contact the tubing, it is for the safety of your baby that we pick such a material.

To fit Medela's pump and connectors, it is very important that the tolerance of the tubing and adaptors are controlled to +/- 0.1 mm. This precision is equal to the quality that is controlled in the making of today's high-end cell phone handsets.  We guarantee that our accessories will fit the intended Medela pumps or your money back.

Steam-Safe tubing

Many Medela users have complained about melt Medela tubing.  We studied it to know that most Medela's tubes in USA are made of PVC which can't take a prolong heating process.  We therefore pick polypropylene and silicone tubing to make our Steam Safe tubing set. Both types of material are safe during steam sterilization.

Furthermore, silicone does not contain any environmental hormones such as BPA or phthalates. It is chemically inert to all the food we eat even at high temperature. Therefore it is widely used in baking utensils and baby products. That is why we pick this material to make a safe feeding product.

Membranes:

We pick food grade silicone to make our membranes.  The input material is tested at least once a year for the food grade silicone standards.  Each batch of the finished product is tested for FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 standards.  The pymidal shape of the blips on the surface ensure larger contact area with the valve to prevent distortion during pumping.  More flexible membranes also provides faster response during use.

Valves:

As you will notice that our valves has a sharper slope in the back.  It is done to provide better flow path for the breast milk coming down from the breastshield.

The material we used to make the valves are food grade PP.  Every batch is tested to meeting FDA's standards.

AC Adapter:

LIGHT This adapter outperforms Medela’s original adapter, while weighs only 1/5th of it. It will reduce weight of your PIS backpack by 1lb.

EFFICIENT This adapter uses only ½ of the energy compared to Medela’s OEM adapter. It will not become as hot as Medela’s after use. At the same time, it meets the energy efficiency level V standards leaving less carbon footprints along the use of the adapter.

SAFE This adapter contains multiple safety features too. It provides over-heat, over-current and short circuit protections. It is safe to be used around the house and office.

UNIVERSAL With its worldwide 100-240V input voltage range, you can use this adapter anywhere as long as you have the correct plug head. You can take this adapter on a cruise, to Europe or Asia without worrying about the voltage changes among countries.

We received many feedbacks from Medela cooler tote users.  They have two wishes in common - they want to place more milk bag in the Medela tote and they want larger cooling capacity.  Based on these feedbacks, we designed the cooler bag without the wave-shaped cooling brick.  We replace with them three individual coolants pouches.
